This page describes what Hialeah Trusted Water Damage asks a visitor for and what happens to it. The list of boxes below is generated from the form itself rather than written out beside it, so it cannot describe a field the form no longer has, or miss one it has gained.

We are a free quote service for water damage work in Hialeah and the surrounding part of Miami-Dade County. We are not a restoration contractor. The only thing this site is built to do with your details is put them in front of one contractor who does the work.

Every box on the quote form, and what each one is for

There are 7 named boxes, counting one you never see. Each row below is the label printed above that box on the form, whether it has to be filled in, and what it is there for.

Nothing else on the page is read and sent. There is no hidden field carrying a page history, no tracking value written into the request, and no box whose label says one thing and whose contents are used for another.

Where a request goes after you send it

The form posts to this domain and no other. It does not submit to a third party, it does not hand your details to an advertising network, and it is not a front end for somebody else's lead exchange.

A completed request is passed to one water damage contractor working in this area. One, not a panel of them bidding against each other, and not a list sold on to whoever wants a copy.

A request is kept for as long as it is useful to the contractor handling it and to any question you raise about it afterwards. It is not enriched with anything bought from a data broker, and no profile is built from it.

What a call to this site reaches

The number on this site is a tracked line, which means calls to it are logged and recorded. It is worth knowing exactly what that line does, because it does less than most numbers on a contractor's website.

Nobody answers it. It is not staffed, it does not ring anywhere, and it is not connected to a contractor. A caller reaches a recorded greeting and can leave a message, and that message is recorded, which is the entire function of a voicemail. There is no conversation on this line to record, because there is no second person on it.

Florida is one of the states where a recording needs the agreement of everybody on the call rather than just one of them. On a line where the only thing recorded is the message you choose to leave after a beep, leaving it is the agreement. On a line where two people talk, the announcement has to come first, and this page would say so.

It is lawful under this section … for a person to intercept a wire, oral, or electronic communication when all of the parties to the communication have given prior consent to such interception.

Florida allows a call to be recorded when everyone on it has agreed beforehand. That is why a line which records a conversation has to say so before the conversation starts.

What this site loads while you read it

Nothing from anybody else. Every stylesheet, script, font and image on these pages is served from this domain, so opening a page here does not announce your visit to a company you have never heard of. The links that leave this site go to statutes, city and county pages, a federal agency and a state licensee register, and none of them loads until you click it.

Page views are counted, by this site itself. A short script served from this domain sends one message when a page opens, to an address on this domain. There is no analytics product, no advertising pixel, no cookie, and nothing written into your browser to recognize you on the next page or the next visit.

Four things travel with that message, and this is all of them:

What kind of event it is always the same: The literal word pageview. There is no second kind, so this field never distinguishes one visitor from another.
The page no query string: The part of the address after the domain, such as /services/mold-remediation/. Anything after a question mark is left behind.
Where you arrived from host only: The site name alone, such as google.com. Never the full address you came from, and never the words you searched. It is empty when you type the address, open a bookmark, or arrive from a link in a message.
How wide your browser window is whole pixels: One number, so we can tell whether these pages are being read on a phone or on a desktop and lay them out for the right one. No height, no screen size, no device model, no fonts, no plugin list.

Your IP address is not stored. It reaches the server, because every request on the internet carries one, and it is immediately combined with today's date and a secret this server keeps, then turned into a fixed-length value. That value cannot be turned back into an address, and because the date is part of it, the one written down today does not match the one written down tomorrow for the same person. It exists so two page views a minute apart can be recognized as one reading session, and it stops being able to do even that at midnight.

None of this is shared, sold, or sent to an advertising network, and none of it is joined to anything you type into the estimate form. It answers one question: which pages people read. It is not capable of answering who you are.

One thing here does come from somebody else: the check that stops automated submissions flooding the form. It is Cloudflare Turnstile, loaded from challenges.cloudflare.com. The quote form sits behind a button in the header of every page, so that script loads everywhere on this site rather than only where the form is already visible. A challenge is not a tracker: it sets no advertising identifier, and nothing it does is used to build a profile of you. Everything else on these pages is still served from here.

The site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. There is no consent banner here because there is nothing to consent to, which is a shorter sentence than most sites can write and is the reason the banner is missing rather than an oversight.

Asking us about any of this

The form is the way to reach us, including about this page. Say in the message box that the question is about the privacy policy rather than about a leak, and it will be treated as one.

That is also how to ask for a request to be dropped rather than passed on, or to ask what was sent. Give us enough to find it, which in practice means the number you left and roughly when.

If this page and the site ever disagree, the site is the error and this page is the thing to point at. Send it and we will fix the site.
